The Everyman HD is so light that it doesn’t stay anchored well, and I had to readjust the position of the camera repeatedly as it shifted slightly throughout my calls. I have Skype and Freetalk exceptionally good for Skype communication. It’s not compact, but it’s reasonably comfortable and it works. Overall, this webcam is a good Skype companion, but I would expect subsequent versions to correct some of its minor flaws.

My Skype partners found the shifting image that resulted very distracting. The sound quality of the microphone seems excellent, and the headphones are very comfortable,to me much more so than the in ear variety. The actual mics on the phone stay freealk and the headset too. I took a star off because the headset broke after minor use, and because the distributor is not dveryman to contact, has conflicting warranty information and didn’t include any proof of purchase.
