The person who wrote this post forgot to include a link to the site where you can get the Vista Beta software for Capwiz. I had similar problems getting it to work, ADS Tech support were not much use, the software crashes etc have been resolved by following the instructions posted by Fulton, however I have not installed DirectX9 as Vista already has DirectX How can this be resolved. I had no picture preview at first.
